Job Description

The selected experienced candidate will be required to perform inspections on mechanical components of ship or submarine construction/overhaul.  To include inspection of arrival condition, in-process and final product mechanical inspections; as well as witnessing the testing operations of components.  Also responsible for ensuring all requirements of drawings and procedures are met for the specific mechanical inspection process.  Assist with Quality Improvement Activities. 

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year(s) experience in Mechanical Repair OR Auto Repair OR Maintenance Repair OR Auto Body: Welding or "like" trade experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
  • Must be able to work ANY shift as production needs.


Preferred Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.
  • Trade/Technical School certificate in auto repair, mechanical repair, welding, or "like" type trades.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or Inspection a definite plus.
  • Active DOD security clearance a definite plus.
