Supplier Development Analyst 4

The successful candidate will plan, support, and execute various supplier development projects at NNS in support of Supply Chain Procurement for all Programs. In addition to working directly with supplier personnel, the successful candidate will collaborate with buyers, engineers, quality, and program personnel to effect improvement in material availability and cost for NNS. Strong verbal and written skills are required. Additional desirable skills and experience include:

Job Description
Solicits and analyzes requests for proposals, negotiates contracts, and coordinates supplier integration plans with internal clients for all goods and services for consumption by internal stakeholders, business unit or function. Identifies projects to apply sourcing and purchasing/procurement methodology. Establishes a supplier relationship management process with continuous improvement goals/programs. Monitors market dynamics and communicates changes that affect internal client needs. Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs, conduct buyer/market profiles, share marketplace trends, share best practices, and define acceptable service levels.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience. Master;s Degree and 8 years of experience. An Apprentice Certificate or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
