SHEETMETAL MECHANIC

Job Description

Fabricates and installs a variety of sheet metal such as ductwork, venting systems, main engine exhaust, metal containers and instrumentation panels.  Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, work for standard and metrick specifications and other specifications, using shop mathematics. Candidate must be have the ability to pass a skill assessment test.

Basic Qualifications

Requires a minimum of four (4) years of sheetmetal experience or related craft experience in joiner, shipfitting and/or carpentry, ability to set up and operate a variety of sheetmetal machines such as brakes and shears.

Preferred Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent, Master Tech Certification
