Job Description
Performs non-destructive tests (NDT) on aircraft engines or components. Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle. Requires certifications in non-destructive testing in accordance with regulations.
Basic Qualifications

Associate's degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years of related experience; High school diploma or the equivalent with 7 years related experience. May require certification.
