Job Description

Inside  (CNC) Machinists operate various machines (manual and/or CNC) such as; lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, horizontal boring mills, etc. Inside machinists troubleshoot operations and take appropriate actions to correct. The machinists perform quality inspections, verifying dimensions of work piece are in accordance with drawing specifications.


Current NNS Employees are not eligible for bonus 

Basic Qualifications

The candidate must be able to understand written instructions and strong math skills are essential. This is a construction environment involving extreme heights, confined spaces, physical labor and various weather conditions within a shipyard environment. 3+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN CNC MACHINING IS REQUIRED. **Must be available to work all (3) shifts


Candidates hired that receive the $2500 Bonus must sign an Promissory Note to remain employed at NNS AS CNC Machinist for at least 12 months from start date 

Current NNS Employees are not eligible for bonus 

Preferred Qualifications

Prior CNC Machinist expereince.   Completion of a CNC/Machinist/Precision Machining Certification/Diploma with CNC work exp also a plus
