The Role
HII has an exciting opportunity for a Senior CyberIT Portfolio & Integration Project Manager to work out of either our Newport News, Virginia or Arlington, Virginia Corporate office! This role requires a blend of project management capability and deep knowledge of Cyber and IT operational work, including how technical services, labor, contracts, and cost structures function within an enterprise technology organization. The Portfolio Integration Project Lead (Project Manager 5) is responsible for financial analytics and labor resource planning for CyberIT. This role partners closely with Corporate and Divisional Finance and CyberIT resource managers to support budgeting, forward pricing, actuals tracking, and cost accounting. It also develops accurate demand and capacity models for labor planning. The role requires strong knowledge of IT cost structures and experience using SAP and/or Apptio for financial analytics, forecasting, and operational analysis. The individual will lead monthly resource planning meetings, manage discrete project-related activities, and deliver portfolio insights and recommendations that guide CyberIT’s financial and workforce strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage CyberIT financial planning activities, including budgets, forecasts, forward pricing submissions, and actuals variance analysis.
- Use SAP and/or Apptio to perform financial modeling, cost allocation reviews, and labor charge validation.
- Maintain in‑depth Purchase Order (PO) process knowledge, ensuring detailed tracking of materials, renewals, and extension of IT contracts to support ongoing operational and financial accuracy.
- Build and maintain labor demand and capacity forecasts to identify resource gaps, surpluses, and priority alignment.
- Lead monthly resource planning meetings, presenting financial insights, utilization trends, and labor forecasts to CyberIT leadership.
- Develop models that reflect the financial and resource impacts of workload changes, new intake, and forecast planning.
- Prepare executive-ready reporting on financial performance, resource utilization, and portfolio health.
- Collaborate with Corporate/Divisional Finance and CyberIT resource managers to ensure accurate labor planning, compliance, and financial alignment.

Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 14 years of relevant exempt experience;
Master's Degree and 12 years of relevant professional experience;
Ph.D. and 9 years of experience.
Nice to Have
- Strong understanding of internal cost accounting, IT financial workflows, and labor-based cost structures.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and/or Apptio for cost modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across various teams and departments.
- Experience supporting CyberIT or enterprise IT financial/resource planning.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Planner, and Copilot for analytics and workflow integration.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, ITIL, or financial analysis credentials.
- Experience in Department of Defense is a plus.
