This position is in fleet technical support of NIMITZ class ship specifically in the ETC system and advanced electrical system area. The candidate should have significant experience in the Control System and equipment of the systems function and/or integration of complex systems involving experience with the controls integration of motors, motor drives, variable frequency drive, and encoders. Familiarity with carrier reactor and propulsion plant arrangement, operation and construction is also desired. The candidate should have experience leading complex technical projects and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will require significant interaction with both internal and external customers and the candidate must be comfortable interacting with technical and management leaders outside of the company. This position will also require to overseeing senior/junior engineers with guidance/advisor on any questions of making decision in the technical needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Having background in depth knowledge of ETC and Advanced Electrical Systems of Aircraft Carrier and/or any roles of troubleshooting (strong experience on remote field support) analyzing, testing, and implementing of control systems especially in Variable Frequency Drive or Servo Drive programming/configuring and implementation. Experience in one or more of the following: Program Logics Controllers (PLC), Distribution Control Systems (DCS), Network communication topology (Ethernet switches, Serial digital, and third party data link protocols), Human Machine Interface (Remote and local control panels), MATLAB/Simulink, LabView, etc.., and basic understand of cyber security industrial standard for implementing in the control systems. The candidate should have experience working on and leading technical projects and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with one or more area desired: Project schedule planning, scope of works/white pagers, technical order requirements, process of down selecting vendors of control systems/fields instrument, and provide presentation of the control systems/instrument to management leaders, and internal/external customers.

The Role
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience;
Master’s Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience;
Ph.D. and 4 years of experience.
