ET² the Essential Trades Training Program is a workforce development and career opportunity unlike any other. The program provides high quality, comprehensive two-year training for candidates interested in shipbuilding careers. In support of the operational needs of Newport News Shipbuilding you will focus on the Sheet Metal Worker trade. You can push new boundaries of achievement and explore new opportunities in a complex and challenging workplace. Building and maintaining nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines for the United States Navy. This opportunity for applicants will be a rewarding experience and an excellent opportunity to learn about heavy manufacturing and construction in the world’s most modern shipbuilding facility.

Completion of a one or two year Technology Program through a post-secondary Career and Technical Education Center
