IT SYSTEMS ENGINEER 2

If you have worked with the AWS and Azure cloud platforms, have experience with Configuration Management and Deployment Tools, are proficient in scripting and have experience in developing Continuous Delivery pipelines, come join our skilled and innovative group of professionals, and help us build a DevOps program.

Responsibilities:
• Provide cloud solutions including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
• Responsible for the availability, security/compliance, account management, backup, and performance of the cloud infrastructure
• Interact with members across the organization including developers, architects, testers, cyber security, business analysts, product owners and executives on new and existing cloud initiatives
• Perform system monitoring, diagnose and correct system problems
• Utilize tools for reporting system usage and performance
• Document configuration and installation procedures
• Monitor and control cloud infrastructure utilization to contain on-going costs
• Build, extend, and maintain the software release pipeline system minimizing the feedback loop for developers and release time for customers

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Application Lifecycle Management tools, i.e. Jira, Rally, or VersionOne
• Software Configuration Management, i.e. Git, Subversion, Mercurial
• Software Build, i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, Ant, Maven, VSTS
• Software Deploy, i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SALT, DSC
• Development and scripting languages, i.e. Java, .Net, PHP, C++, Python, TS, nodejs, Gradle, PERL, Rake
• Hands on Admin experience with Linux and Windows Server OS's
• Docker containers and orchestration tools, like Kubernetes

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience. Master's Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. 12 years of relevant non-exempt, Manufacturing, Military, Shipbuilding or Trades experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
