Job Description

Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.), and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.

The Operational Health team at NNS is looking for an experienced analyst to join our team providing clarity of performance and data-driven insights on company performance. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in improving NNS’ ability to understand performance and identify key drivers. As part of the Business Acceleration division, the Operational Health team focuses on establishing clear metrics of performance, developing associated reporting & analytical models, providing and acting on data-driven insights, and driving focus to the most impactful areas of improvement.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish clear linkage between business objectives, key performance measures that inform on those objectives, and the reports and analyses used to support those measures.
  • Develop analytical model and metrics that provide a clear, unambiguous view of performance within in a given area of focus
  • Develop analyses that look across program and functional area to identify correlated and causal relationships
  • Provide insights beyond metrics and charts that help inform decisions based on underlying data & trends
  • Identify areas for improvement in data architecture, management, and consolidation
  • Work directly with business partners to identify the questions, problems, and decisions where data and analysis can be leveraged to provide insights
  • Report out on performance, metrics, reports, and analysis to divisional and company leadership
  • Assist program and functional areas in setting realistic targets for Key Performance Measures
  • Develop standard reporting models that can be reused with minimal manual effort
  • Experience developing PowerBI dashboards is a plus

 

Basic Qualifications

5 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 3 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
