QUALITY ANALYST 3

The Role
Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
- NNS Apprentice School graduate
- Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
- Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
- High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
- High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Nice to Have
Experience with generating and interpreting Quality Metrics (Self Assessments, internal reports,)
Team Learning Session (TLS) experience
Performing surveillances and audits.
MC-1 material control experience
SubSafe Qualifications
SubSafe Re-Entry Controls OQE Certification experience
Commercial NDT Level 3 experience
Vendor Supplier Quality experience
TP 271 Level III Certification for VT & MT
Vendor/Supplier Quality Experience (including Vendor/Supplier NDE Hold Point)
Must be able to obtain/ maintain a minimum of at least a Confidential DoD security clearance.
