SHIP SAFETY WATCH

Job Description

The candidate must have five (5) years experience testing and conducting watch standing operations on submarine ship systems, or have equivalent experience on submarines, carrier nuclear/propulsion, or A-gang experience. The selected candidate must have knowledge of hydraulics, high air pressure, low air pressure, and Naval propulsion plant systems. Additional work hours will be required during operational testing evolutions.

Basic Qualifications

The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and move equipment to and from the job site, adequately stand watch, work in various heights, and work in confined spaces may be required. Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

$2,500 sign-on bonus for candidates with an Active Security Clearance (Confidential, Secret, or Top Secret)
