Job Description

Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit. Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes data. Uses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 year’s additional education and/or relative experience.

Candidates must have a knowledge of policies and procedures.

Candidates should be capable of performing administrative tasks such as:

  • Executing status changes
  • Performing START system reporting
  • Receptionist responsibilities
  • Filing, email and calendar management
  • Gathering and compiling reports for Department Supervision
  • Performing verbal and written communication techniques
  • Possess a proficiency in MS Office Word/Excel/Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have experience indicating the ability to work under limited supervision, with no instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.

Knowledge of CBA policies and rules and administering of Discipline Action Notices (DANs).

Resolves most questions and problems, and refers complex questions to higher levels.
