As an Ingalls Electrician, you’ll install and connect the electrical systems that bring our nation’s most advanced ships to life. From lighting and power distribution to complex shipboard electrical networks, your expertise ensures every vessel operates safely, reliably, and mission‑ready.

What You Can Earn
• Earn up to $37.66 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do
• Install and repair marine electrical cable throughout the ship.
• Install, route, and terminate lighting systems and electrical power equipment.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, and schematics to complete accurate, code‑compliant installations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
• Operate in an active shipyard environment involving heights, confined spaces, and variable conditions.
• Follow safety procedures that meet — and often exceed — industry standards.

What You Bring
• Proven experience in electrical installation, repair, or industrial/marine electrical work
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safe work practices
• Reliability, teamwork, and commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship
