Job Description
Ingalls Shipbuilding Pascagoula is hiring Entry Level Pipe Welders. Skill and Safety training will be provided to candidates.
An Ingalls Pipe Welder is responsible for performing pipe welding procedures on various metals utilizing Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding.
Pipe Welders will be required to work either day or night (various shifts) dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time. Shipyard production areas involve working at different heights, confined spaces, all weather conditions. Ingalls stresses the practice of working safely in all situations.
This is a full time position. Employees are expected to work 40hours per week.

Entry level position. No experience needed.
