As an Ingalls Insulator, you are part of a skilled team responsible for removing, repairing, and installing critical insulation across piping systems, ventilation systems, and structural components throughout the ship. Your work ensures efficiency, safety, and performance — craftsmanship that keeps our ships mission‑ready.

What You Can Earn
• Earn up to $35.99 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
• Additional opportunities for overtime, training, and long‑term advancement.


What You’ll Do
• Remove, repair, and install insulation materials including fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rubatex.
• Insulate piping systems, ventilation systems, machinery, and shipboard structures.
• Follow specifications and guidelines to ensure proper installation and performance.
• Work in various shipboard environments and support production needs.
• Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

What You Bring
• Hands‑on experience installing and repairing industrial or marine insulation (preferred)
• Skill working with fiberglass, calcium silicate, rubatex, or similar materials
• Ability to work safely in complex shipyard environments
• Strong commitment to quality, precision, and teamwork

Must Have

1 year of Pipe Insulation experience n an Industrial, Marine, Shipbuilding aor Petro-Chemical enviroment with experience installing rubber insulation. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs.
