Job Description

Provides direct managerial leadership for Electrical Detail Design personnel, ensuring high-quality engineering products in accordance with Command Media processes. Oversees team performance, development, and supervision while managing scheduling, budgeting, and execution of 3D/2D Arrangements, Armament, Combat Systems, Cableway, and Cable Routing products. Ensures seamless integration of Detail Design outputs across disciplines, driving efficiency and adherence to best practices. Collaborates closely with other disciplines and departments to align design efforts and foster effective interdepartmental coordination.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school of engineering and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering, and design or equivalent.  

(Combination of education and experience in lieu of degree: High school diploma and 14 years or Associate's Degree and 10 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design or equivalent)

 

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate strong team-building skills and the ability to lead a diverse team with varying levels of experience. The ideal candidate fosters collaboration, mentorship, and a high-performing work environment while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are valued. Familiarity with Electrical Detail Design tools and processes is preferred.
