Job Description
This position will report to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager and will be responsible for IT Operations.
This role will be responsible for the leading and overseeing the day-to-day management and governance of a 3rd party infrstaructure providers, ensuring performance across the Workplace Services and the Service Management towers. These tower include, but are not limited too, end user computing, print services, mobility, collaboration, and the service desk.
This role will serve as the operational interface between the internal stakeholders and external vendors, while driving service excellenace, compliance, and strategic alignment to business goals.
Additional responsibilities:
• Manage contractual relationships, including SLA compliance, escalation protocols, and performance reviews.
• Ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps.
• Monitor and report on service uptime, incident response, and remediation processes.
• Ensure infrastructure support aligns with enterprise needs in availability, scalability, and resilience.
• Drive risk mitigation initiatives and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Coordinate impact analyses and lead post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.
• Oversee infrastructure cost models, budgeting forecasts, and usage optimization.
• Partner with finance teams to validate spend, track cost efficiency, and identify savings opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations (e.g., DFAR 7012, NIST, CMMC).
• Act as liaison with cyber risk teams for infrastructure-related security initiatives.
• Serve as primary point of contact for infrastructure service delivery across IT, cybersecurity, and business leadership.
• Translate technical metrics into business-relevant performance indicators.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and 6 years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
- Attention to detailed documentation.
- Adherence to timelines is a must.
- Experience with stakeholder (internal and external) communication.
- Proven experience in IT operations, vendor management, or infrastructure governance.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills across technical and executive audiences.
- Proficiency in service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
- Experience with compliance frameworks and operational risk assessment.
