The Role

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Managing the Waterfront Change (WTA) Process, collaborating between Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, Estimating and Pricing, Contracts, and the Customer. Providing support to the Life Cycle Engineering Services Contract, including development of weekly metrics. Managing LCES activities assigned by the Navy, including Engineering studies and Vendor tasks. Program review of Engineering Class 2 Changes. Supporting the LPD Change Manager in technical and administrative tasks as requested.

Must Have

6 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree.

Nice to Have

Experience with LPD Program Change Management processes (ECRs, Waivers, WTAs and Condition Reports). Experience in managing contract deliverables is a plus. Candidate should have superior excel skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Candidate should have ability to work collaboratively with peers, various management levels and Customer. Should have demonstrated proficiency in development of PowerPoint presentations for senior management. Should have strong project management skills.
