The Role

DDG1000 Program management responsibilities: 

This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and tracking subcontracted work to ensure schedule adherence, quality, and cost. This is a waterfront position, requiring daily engagement in Plan of the Day (POD) meetings to align subcontractor activities with overall production priorities.

This role serves as the primary interface between subcontractors and internal departments, proactively removing roadblocks that cause delays to subcontractor activities. The coordinator will develop and review Statement of Work (SOWs), and build and maintain progress plans. 

Must Have

10 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 8 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree ( a combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)

Nice to Have

  • Program and/or Project management, planning/engineering experience
  • Has intermediate to advanced knowledge with Microsoft tools, and an understanding of earned value
  • Has experience in understanding contractual documentation, purchase specifications, configuration management, metrics analysis, budgeting, ability to multi-task; good communication and analytical skills; and skilled in the development of worksheets, charts, graphs, and presentations using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications
  • Experience and ability to interact with all levels of management across the value stream, as well as external customers is preferred
