Job Description
This position will report to the Ingalls' IT Compliance Manager and will work with the IT Compliance Team in supporting the compliance activities within Ingalls IT as required by law, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
The selected candidate will:
- Be part of the IT compliance team that is responsible for documenting, maintaining, and validating all relevant General Information Technology Controls (GITC) surrounding the Financial, Human Resource, and applicable SOX systems.
- Be a proponent for governance, risk, and compliance
- Assist in the design, documentation and communication of IT processes and controls and identify opportunities for more efficient and effective processes.
- Assist with internal/external audits testing IT systems for compliance; includes Sarbanes-Oxley, DCAA, software suppliers and other audit agencies as required
- Assist in the management and enforcement of SOX controls, Internal processes and procedures, and additional government regulations
- Assist in compiling and maintaining audit documentation artifacts
- Assist with the completion of Quality Audits
Strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills, including experience with external communication. Attention to detailed documentation. Adherence to timelines is a must.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and 3 years of relevant professional experience. Master's degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Government regulations that include, but are not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Personally Identifiable Identification (PII/PPI), DFAR, NIST.
